In the beginning of this chapter, Paul writes to the Corinthians about false prophets. He tells them that when the false prophets came, they had put up with them and been led away from the truth.
In the second part of the chapter, Paul talks about all the trials he had been through. And through it all, God had always been there and gotten him through it alive. -V
